ABOUT ME

During the day, I'm a strategy consultant. In my free time, I love helping people demystify the complex world of personal finances. I've led dozens of presentations to thousands of colleagues, classmates, and friends - helping people to feel more comfortable about saving, investing, paying for grad school, and preparing for a new job or promotion.

I'm an experienced manager of teams as large as 60, and frequently speak to audiences of 250+, bringing energy, humor, and clarity to personal finances. I have published more than 200 articles on business, financial literacy, public policy, and education. In my free time, I am the CFO of a nonprofit supporting community development in Kenya. I have my undergrad BBA in Finance / Economics from Baylor University and MBA from University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
